  Registration

Do I need to register for this event?

Yes, due to capacity restrictions and catering requirements all attendees must register. 

How do I register for CAS 2023?

Visit the registration page, select the appropriate registration portal.

When can I collect my CAS 2023 event access pass?

Passes will be available for collection at 
the PCEC during the following times:

1000 - 1800, Monday 28 August 
0700 - 1700 Tuesday 29 August 

Can I attend CAS 2023?           

Invited guests and all Department of Defence members (ADF and APS) are eligible to attend CAS 2023 in person. For more information on invitations please contact army.events@defence.gov.au.


Do I need to register separately for the CAS Expo Series?

No, attendance to the Expo series is included in your general registration. There are two designated periods within the Symposium program to enable attendance.


Can I book for multiple people?

Each registration must be made individually unless you are an exhibiting company or visiting international delegation.

  Event 

Will meals be provided?                 

Yes, morning tea and lunch will be provided on both 29 and 30 August 2023 for Chief of Army Symposium attendees.

I have dietary requirements, will they be catered for?

Yes, please identify your requirements during the registration process.

Will the event be filmed or photographed?

Yes, the symposium will be recorded and available to view later from the online portal for Department of Defence members. There will also be a photographer and videographer capturing components of the event.


What are the COVID-19 requirements?

We ask all attendees to please not attend the event if you have any flu-like symptoms, maintain physical distance where possible and to practice good hygiene, including washing of hands and regular use of sanitiser.

Where should I book accommodation?

What should I do when I arrive?

When you arrive to the level 2 entrance, please go directly to the registration desk to present your ID and collect your event pass. Staff will be onsite to assist you. 

Which venue entrance should I use?

The main pedestrian entrance is a short walk from St Georges Terrace or the bus port via Mill St, the connecting walkways. Using these entrances you will arrive on Level 2. 





  Virtual Event

Is there a virtual event
option?

Yes, there is a virtual option for Department of Defence members only.

Visit the registration page and select the virtual registration option. You must have an @defence.gov.au email to register for the virtual component. 


Can I share my virtual event login with others?

No, each user must register for themselves .




What do I need to do on the day of the virtual event?

On the day before the event, you will receive a reminder with your unique login details. This will also contain a link that will automatically login to your account and access the event page. If you don't receive the email please contact, 
army.events@defence.gov.au.
