To obtain an NV1 clearance, you will need a sponsor. If you are already a supplier, you may be able to seek sponsorship through the Prime you supply to and/or your contract manager if you are a direct supplier. The process to obtain an NV1 clearance may take up to 12 months.
Alternatively, your company should investigate the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP). The Program supports Australian entities to understand and meet their security obligations when engaging in Defence tenders, contracts and projects. Additionally the Office of Defence Industry Support (ODIS)provides a seamless experience for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to engage with Defence.

Yes, you must bring your LEWG 2025 event access pass to attend as well as photo ID.
If you have provided your DCAC details during the registration process youmust bring your DCAC with you. DCAC holders have been vetted differently to those without. If you do not bring your DCAC with you, it will slow down the base access process.
Due to strict security protocols for accessing base and the session facilities, we are unable to swap out attendees as they will not have been vetted by the security team.
No, there are no parking facilities. Buses will be organised to transport all attendees to HMAS Harman. Attendees will be picked up and dropped off to Sir Thomas Blamey Square, Russell ACT.
To attend a classified briefing session, you must be on this bus. This is due to the strict security guidelines we must adhere to.
